J Behnke is a Mesa Police Officer who is being sued for civil rights violations, false arrest and a number of other charges as a result of a false arrest by the Mesa Community College Police, which are a different agency then the City of Mesa Police which J Behnke is employed by.
When the plaintiff was falsely arrested by the MCC police he took his 5th Amendment right and refused to answer the questions of Steve Corich, Lynn Bray and Turner.
Steve Corich, Lynn Bray and Turner should have told the plaintiff, Yes Sir we will stop questioning you right now and not resume until your lawyer is present. But they didn’t they tried to force the plaintiff to answer their question.
When the plaintiff continued to refuse to answer the questions of the MCC cops they called in two Mesa Police Officers hoping the Mesa cops would be able to force the plaintiff to give up his 5th Amendment right and answer their questions.
Sadly for the MCC cops the City of Mesa cops were wimps and gave up after telling the plaintiff 3 or 4 times that he didn’t have any stinking constitutional rights and had to answer their questions.
